Acknowledgement of Country
Our vision for reconciliation is to promote a culture of equity, dignity and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within our community and our organisation. We are committed to honouring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ unique cultural and spiritual relationship with the land, waters and seas of their Country.
In July 2022, we were proud to launch our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan.

SYC exists so everyone can succeed.
We invest back into the community, helping tens of thousands of people every year to create a life without disadvantage, to build sustainable independence and to experience wellbeing in all areas of their lives.
SYC is a non-profit human services organisation founded in 1958 to support young people experiencing disadvantage in Adelaide. SYC now operates nationally supporting more than 57,000 people annually with housing, education, employment, justice, health and disability services.
